Business means all those activities related to producing and distributing goods and services to earn profit.

Kinds of Business

1-Local business

manufacturing and distributing the goods and services inside the country is called local business.

2-Foreign business

1. Export business
2. Import business

Export Business:

to sell the country’s products/services in a Foreign market to earn foreign exchange is called export.

Import Business:

to buy the goods services product from any foreign country which is not available inside the local market up to the required standards in connection with price quality and quantity is called import.

Firms/Company:

the business institution registered under Pakistan Ordinance 1984 will be called companies and those registered in your local chamber of commerce will be called firms.

Note: for starting a foreign business you must make a company/firm and register it in a government department and also in the Chamber of Commerce and industry.
